Before using a injection molding machine to process raw materials, you first need to customize injection molds of different sizes knife, fork and spoon. The molten plastic raw materials is then injected into the customized knife, fork or spoon mold through injection molding machine, resulting in finally product.

4 steps for Plastic cutlery production process

Step 1: Material melting

The selected plastic material is fed into a heated barrel of an injection molding machine, where it is melted under high temperature andpressure.

Step 2: Injection

Once the plastic is molten, a screw mechanism injects the molten plastic into a cutlery mold cavity in the shape of a knife, fork, or spoon.

Step 3：Mold Cooling

After the plastic is injected and fills the cutlery mold cavities, the product is cooled and shaped inside the mold.

Step 4: Ejection

Then open the mold and eject down the knife, fork, and spoon. Or use a robot to fetch that cutlery out.
