K Series Energy Saving Machine

Haichen Servo energy-saving injection molding machine is designed to achieve significant energy savings by utilizing servo motor applications.

Unlike ordinary engines, the flow rate and speed of the oil pump in a servo engine can be adjusted according to the requirements, effectively reducing energy consumption.

In contrast, ordinary injection molding machines run continuously, even when the machine is not in motion, leading to constant motor rotation.

A servo injection molding machine, on the other hand, utilizes power only when necessary for different actions. Consequently, when the machine is not moving, the servo motor completely stops, resulting in energy savings.

For instance, in an injection molding machine using a 64cc oil pump, the output power of the oil pump is approximately 28 kW when the maximum system pressure is 175 bar. However, after incorporating a servo motor and drive, the output power of the injection molding machine is reduced to approximately 7 kW when the system pressure and melt speed are set at 50%, resulting in a 75% power savings.

Furthermore, when the product requires a long cooling time and the servo machine is not engaged in any operation, the pump motor also stops. In contrast, the motor and pump of an ordinary injection molding machine continue to output power even during idle periods, causing the oil to circulate unnecessarily.

The use of a Haichen servo machine not only enables energy-saving operations but also enhances efficiency and reduces overall power consumption. These benefits make Haichen servo machines a preferable choice for injection molding applications.
