The hydraulic and pneumatic control device is mounted in the cabinet. It provides three sets of program modes, i.e. “MANU”, “SEMIAUTO”, and “AUTO”, “PULLING CORE SELECT”, “DIE HIGH SELECT”. There also are some buttons on it, such as the “EMERGENCY STOP” button, “ACC CHARGE” button, and other buttons.

The servo energy-saving hydraulic control system realizes high control accuracy and energy saving through the use of components such as servo motors, oil pumps, tanks, and reversing valves.

This type of system realizes precise control of the hydraulic system through communication between the upper computer and the programmable logic controller (PLC), as well as setting operating parameters on the touch screen.

When the machine is operating in the “Manual” mode, the correct operational procedures are as follows: close the front and back guard gate; Press the “DIE CLOSE” buttons with two hands and complete the die-closing action.; Press the “INJECTION” button and then release the button and complete the injection return action; Die-opening cooling press the “DIE OPEN” button and complete the die-opening action.

When the machine is operating in the “AUTO” mode, let the machine be in the condition of the home position, close the front and back guard gate, Press the “DIE CLOSE” buttons with two hands at the same time and the operation will start. In the condition of “automatic”, after the action of pressing the “DIE CLOSE” buttons with two hands, the machine will work go round and begin again.

When need to emergency stop, press the red “EMERGENCY STOP” button. For more information about related technical parameters adjustment, please refer to the human-computer interface. When the working pressure of the hydraulic system pipeline is above 12MPa, the relief valve will automatically overflow.

While the machine is working

all operating sequences (operate)main command signal will achieve different movement cycles by the control of the PC.

Combustion Furnace Control Unit:

the control system of the combustion furnace adopts a 220V AC power source, and 220V AC relay control circuit, In the control panel, there are three temperature-control instruments with a digital display and two ammeters. One of the ammeters for controlling the temperature of the crucible has over high-temperature alarm.

The thermostatic control option can be set by a temperature-control instrument with a digital display. When the heaters are started, the control circuit operates and the

working currents of electrical heating elements can be shown in their respective ammeters. Heat it until the established temperature, the temperature-control instrument controls the heating component to cut out, and when it is lower than the established temperature, the temperature-control instrument controls the heating component to electrify. It can also control automatic burner is heated or not.

Total power for Electrical operation system of hot chamber machine:

a) Heating by Combustion furnace, the total power of the machine will not be less than 15kVA.

b) Heating by electrical furnace, the total power of the machine will not be less than 55kVA.

The main role of the hydraulic system in a hot chamber die casting machine is to provide stable power to ensure that the closing and opening of the molds as well as the filling process of the metal runs smoothly.
