Update injection molding HMI program: Power off machine, connect device, transfer new software, restart and verify.
Haichen brand of plastic injection molding machine imporve quickly, so sometimes HMI of injection molding machine need update.
How to update HMI program for injection molding machine?
Something like update the language programm, please see following steps:
Receive the compressed file
First haichen will offer new program of language file.
Please copy the file to your SD card
Choose “uncompress to the current folder”, you will get a new folder with the same name. ( you can delete the compressed file now)
Of course you can keep the uncompressed folder, and copy to SD card when you need update.
Update in “Boot menu” display
Turn on the power, after hearing the sound “Bee~~~~”, you should press F10, then F8 in 2 to 3 seconds. And then you switch into the “boot menu” view display as shown.
It is very important to choose not reset after update.
Update the new program：
Change language
If the language is Chinese, you can Press “F1” to change language to English.
Choose update source
If you want update, you must choose “update the current data(from SD card)”.
Choose update file
If name of the compressed file you received is “7HT_511_147B_update”, you must set Manufacturer data to be “7HT” and set Version to be “511” and set Date to be “147B”.
Choose reset sram
If you need to know the data of the machine after update, you must choose “do not reset the sram after update”. If you choose “reset the sram after update”, all data of the machine will change to default value. If it’s a new card, please choose “reset the sram after update”
Choose “OK” to start update.
Before update complete, HMI will show the updating time.
When update complete, HMI will pop up a dialog which shows “update end! OK: Restart, Cancel: Return”.
Press “Enter” key or turn off and then turn on the machine to restart HMI
If clients will no need the new function of plastic injection molding machine, please do not update the program.
