Plastic chairs of different sizes and shapes can be customized by corresponding injection moulds. The injection mould is mainly composed of two parts, including the fixed (fixed) and movable (ejector) halves of the mould, so the mould has two pieces.

The fixed part of the mould is installed on the fixed plate of the injection molding machine; The ejector part of the mould is fixed to a movable fixing plate that contains an ejector for the finished plastic chair, which means that after the injection molding machine has finished production, the chair will automatically fall off the mould without having to be manually removed.

The first step of the matching machine is to confirm the size of the chair, because the mould is to be placed in the injection molding machine for production, so the size of the mould can not exceed the spacing of the injection molding machine tie rod, otherwise, the mould can not be placed in the injection molding machine, and the production cannot be carried out.

If the size of the mould is not equal to the size of the chair, according to the actual situation, the length, width, and height of the mould will be tens of centimeters larger than the length, width, and height of the chair.

Mobility of raw materials

In addition to the size of the chair, the most important aspect of the selection of the injection molding machine is the fluidity of the material.

Let’s use two chairs of different materials but both same size

The first one is a chair made of PE material, and the second is a chair made of PC material

In practical applications, PP is the most conventional material, and PC material has fast fluidity but is easier to solidify, so it requires a larger injection rate and pressure to inject, so it will also need a larger clamping force to cooperate to ensure that the product will not produce flash.

Therefore, in the production of a 556x543x800mm plastic chair, we choose HCK700. PC has high transparency and high hardness of the finished product, and in the case of the same size, we will need HCK1000 to produce PC seats.

1. The backrest of the plastic chair has many different patterns. In actual production, we can design detachable metal plates for these backplates separately.

So that manufacturers do not need to buy separate whole moulds for each chair with a different backrest. But only need to replace their backplates, and you can get a different chair.

2. Since plastic chairs are large-volume plastic products, unlike small products, multi-cavity moulds can be used.

So each plastic chair injection molding machine can only be matched with a cavity mould. And to produce one chair in one injection cycle.

And manufacturers can purchase machines according to their actual conditions.

3. If you are a novice and are more concerned about the initial cost, you can only replace different injection molded parts (screw barrels) at the same time as different mould parts.
