1. Plastic Raw Material Preparation: We feed the selected plastic material for the plastic basin into the injection molding machine in the form of small particles or pellets. Depending on the material requirements of the selected plastic basin, we may preheat or dry the resin.
  2. Mold Setup: We firmly mount the two halves of the mold for the plastic basin on the injection molding machine. We align the mold cavity with the injection nozzle and clamp the mold closed. This ensures that the mold is properly sealed during the injection process.
  3. Injection: We melt the plastic resin and inject it into the mold cavity under high pressure. This is usually achieved by a reciprocating screw inside the plastic basin injection molding machine. The molten plastic fills the cavity and forms the shape of the plastic basin. The high pressure ensures that the plastic fills every detail of the mold.
  4. Cooling and Solidification: After filling the mold, we allow the plastic to cool and solidify in the mold cavity. We can accelerate cooling by circulating coolant in the channels inside the mold. This step is crucial to ensure that the plastic basin maintains its shape and dimensions.
  5. Mold Opening and Ejection: After the plastic solidifies, we open the mold and eject the plastic basin from the mold cavity using an ejector pin or ejector plate. This step requires careful timing to ensure that the basin is fully solidified but not overly cooled, which could make ejection difficult.
  6. Trimming and Finishing: We trim the excess material (called burrs) from the plastic basin. We also perform other finishing processes such as polishing, surface texturing, or assembly of multiple parts according to design requirements. These finishing processes enhance the appearance and functionality of the final product.
