We hydraulically inject the molten aluminum alloy metal under pressure into the customized molds to cool and form. After the molds opening. Aluminum alloy road studs will be obtained.

Different shapes and sizes of products require different molds.

The die-casting mold composes of two parts, including the fixed (stationary) and movable (ejector) halves of the mold. The fixed half of the mold is installes on the fixed plate of the die-casting machine; The ejection half of the mold is fixed on a movable fixing plate and contains a casting ejection device.

In the die-casting process, spraying is a very critical link, which can effectively avoid the welding of die-casting parts and die-casting molds, so that the wear-prone parts of die-casting molds have lubricating properties at high temperatures, reduce the friction resistance of die-casting ejections, prevent sticking to the mold, and play a cooling role to avoid excessive heating of die-casting molds.

Step6: Post-processing of products

Use the trimmer to remove the runner material head and tie bag, polish the cut, and then you can install and use it.

How to choose die casting machine and mold of aluminum road studs

Road studs are generally available in two sizes: 10X10 and 15X15cm.

The die casting machine for making road studs is usually 200-300 tons. But if the product is too wide, it will use a bigger machine.

The main step of choosing the appropriate machine is to confirm the size of the road stud and calculate the space between the bars of the machine according to the size of the road stud. In this way, it is possible to determine what size die casting machine to choose for production.
