Thermal Effects: If the deviation occurs during injection molding, consider the thermal expansion of the mold. The mold may expand unevenly due to high temperatures, causing parallelism issues.

Repairing or Replacing the Mold

If wear or deformation causes a large parallelism deviation in the mold platen, you may need to repair or replace the mold. For example, in a cold runner mold, if repeated use severely wears or deforms the platen, we recommend repairing or replacing the mold.
